McLeod Ganj also spelt McLeodGanj or McLeodganj is a town of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is also called as “Little Lhasa” or “Dhasa” because of its enormous population of Tibetans. The Tibetan government-in-exile is headquartered in McLeod Ganj.
McLeod Ganj was named on the name of Sir Donald Friell McLeod, a Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, and ganj is Hindi word for community.
This waterfall is situated at Bhagsu, 2 km from McLeodganj. It lie back to the Bhagsunag Temple. Bhagsunag waterfall is very famous tourist attraction in Dharamshala. This is very Scenic waterfall located 1 km from Bhagsunag temple. Toursists who comes to visit Dharamshala must go and see this waterfall because this is very Scenic waterfall. Bhagsunath waterfall is just 1.5 kms walk from Bhagsunath Temple. The waterfall falls from a great height and is easily accessible. You can enjoy playing in the water and then can hike a little more to visit Shiva cafe. Great place and it serves good food.
